Food & Dining at Villa Vauvert

Discover the flavours of Provence during your stay at Villa Vauvert.

From seasonal menus and relaxed meals prepared for you at the house, to hands-on cooking experiences and our favourite local restaurants, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the region's food and wine.

At Villa Vauvert, we believe that good food is best enjoyed together. Whether it's a long lunch after a morning exploring the Luberon or dinner shared around the table, we love making mealtimes part of your experience.

A private chef

After more than fifteen years of welcoming guests and cooking for them, I am delighted to offer a private chef service exclusively for guests staying at Villa Vauvert. The idea is simple: to let you enjoy the pleasures of good Provençal food without the planning, shopping or effort that holiday cooking can involve.

I create my menus with care, making the most of fresh, seasonal produce. Michel, my husband, looks after our vegetable garden and extensive herb garden, and whenever possible, we source ingredients directly from our own grounds, or from trusted local producers and markets throughout the Luberon.

From homegrown tomatoes and fresh goat's cheese from the village of Saignon to olive oil from our favourite local estates, each meal is a celebration of the region.

A Private Chef Service

Food is an important part of a holiday, and the corner stone to many special family memories. At Villa Vauvert meal times are special, and we like to tailor them to each group, all while maintaining a provencal feel and our own culinary identity.

After more than fifteen years of running a bed and breakfast, and cooking daily for guests, it is my great pleasure to evolve this experience by offering a private catering service, exclusively for guests staying at Villa Vauvert. The aim is simple: to allow you to enjoy exquisite Provencal fare, without the logistics, planning or hassle that can come with holiday cooking.

I elaborate my menus with care, using fresh, seasonal produce.  Michel, my husband, has planted an extensive herb garden and vegetable patch, and whenever possible, we source produce directly from our own grounds or from trusted local farmers and markets throughout the Luberon.  From home grown tomatoes and fresh goats cheese from the village of Saignon, to olive oil from our favourite local estates, each meal is a celebration of the region.
